LadyAgri Today

At present the COVID19 pandemic is having a direct impact on our women led agri-sme's and on rural livelihoods across Africa and Small Island Developing States. Market linkages are particularly at risk, as food systems already fragile due to over dependency on imports must adapt to disruptions in the agri- value chain and changing consumer demand. Women are the links in these local and regional agri- value chains and the most vulnerable to the economic and sanitary crisis. In our #CounteringCOVID19 campaign, LadyAgri is shining a light on our women agri-entrepreneurs, their trojan work and contributions to combatting the health and economic crisis by protecting their workers and maintaining safe food supply for the rural and urban populations.

LadyAgri Tomorrow

Our aim is to support women to progress to the next growth level wherever they are situated in the agri-value chain. For them to graduate from subsistence to self-reliancy with viable agri-businesses. Our innovative approach is open to women in producer groups, cooperatives, agri-sme's. Growth is only possible with access to knowledge and resources to meet market demands. Our tailored mentoring helps women in their business growth cycle by providing them with access to technical assistance, patient capital, better technology from production to packaging of their products. We want our women agri-entrepreneurs to continue to be the drivers of social, economic and environmental advancement. We want them to become visible market leaders, to inspire the next generation of LadyAgri entrepeneurs.
